Tenacious Warriors was formed in the Lansing, Michigan, area by a group of individuals battling various head and neck cancers.  Our mission is to support not only those dealing with these cancers but also their selfless caregivers. We have first-hand knowledge of the incredible challenges these cancers present both during treatment and after.  These cancers are curable, but it takes a lot of determination, faith and tenacity from the Warriors and a lot of help and sacrifice from the caregivers to be successful. We know it from experience. 

The Warriors in the group want to help others with these cancers before treatment, during treatment and after.  We can help with real-life experiences, strategies, critical information, success stories, general support and encouragement. We especially recognize the enormous challenge it will be for those facing these cancers without a full time caregiver, and we want to help. 

The caregivers provide important experience to those who are suddenly thrust into the role of full-time caregiver with no warning, experience or any idea of how their lives are about to change forever. We share our experiences, struggles, successes and support with those bearing this responsibility. We are especially aware of the enormous challenge it will be for the caregiver that lacks the physical, mental or financial resources to provide the needed care, and we want to help.

Our goal is to grow as a support group. Tenacious Warriors has ambitious plans to increase our capacity to provide assistance and support to those battling these cancers. We can get through this!
